Tibetans In Exile

Mac Leod Ganj, near Dharamsala, hosts the largest community of Tibetan refugees in India. Mac Leod Ganj is the home of the Tibetan government in exile and the center of the resistance to the oppression of Tibet by China.

I visited Mac Leod Ganj in July 2008, almost a month before the Olympics started in Beijing. The mobilization for the Tibetan cause was then stronger than ever, in response to the recent arrests and misuses committed by Chinese authorities in Tibet.
